Mavenir launched the Agentic Service Assurance Framework, a multi-agent system for network operations automation. The framework is aligned with TM Forum standards and is intended to automate network operations knowledge while speeding fault resolution.
The launch comes as operators keep pushing toward autonomous networks. TM Forum Executive Vice President of Member Products Andy Tiller said operators need practical routes to autonomous networks that work across complex, multi-vendor environments.
Standards and operating model
The framework is based on TM Forum IG1251 and IG1453 standards. In multi-vendor and multi-domain settings, it spans L1 monitoring to L3 remediation across networks without replacing systems.
Mavenir says the design uses pre-validated workflows before autonomous execution, so each automated workflow is validated for consistency, accuracy, and a full audit trail. It can also integrate with existing OSS AI agents using the Agent-to-Agent protocol.
What Andy Tiller is signaling
Andy Tiller said intent-based operations and knowledge capture aligned to TM Forum frameworks can help turn NOC expertise into scalable automation. He also said Mavenir’s approach shows the direction the industry needs: open, standards-based autonomy operators can trust.
Read for network automation teams
The relevant read for operators is that Mavenir is tying this framework to existing standards and existing OSS AI agents, not to a rip-and-replace project. That makes the launch a vendor choice to benchmark against for network automation teams that are already trying to move from fault detection to remediation.
Timing at DTW Ignite
Mavenir announced the service on the eve of DTW Ignite 2026 in Copenhagen. That places the launch in the middle of the current autonomous-networking conversation rather than as a standalone product note.
