Internet on Demand has expanded its portfolio to include static public IP on the Vodafone network. The service was built with IP ONE and is available now for partners of Internet on Demand and IP ONE, including existing Vodafone connections (via itchannelpro.nl).
The setup includes a private APN based on Open Internet, double redundancy, and the option to add subnets. Internet on Demand says the service is intended for business FWA applications, VPN connections, and environments that need multiple public IP addresses.
Vodafone becomes the third mobile network in the lineup
Vodafone is now the third mobile provider on which Internet on Demand offers static public IP, after Odido and KPN. That gives MSPs another network option when they build connectivity packages for customers.
The company says the service gives partners more flexibility when building connectivity solutions. It is positioned for cases where one network alone does not fit every technical requirement.
Amsterdam infrastructure and capacity
The solution runs on redundant network infrastructure in Amsterdam and handles mobile data traffic directly in the Netherlands through local breakout. The underlying network infrastructure has switching capacity of more than 100 Gbps.
That capacity and setup are meant to support scalable business FWA connectivity, along with the use cases Internet on Demand names for VPNs and multi-IP environments.
Droam Perspective
For MSPs building fixed wireless and managed connectivity offers, the relevant change is not the branding but the addition of Vodafone to an already multi-network setup. The disclosed combination of private APN, double redundancy, and subnet support matters because it gives partners a defined service shape they can compare against the same provider’s Odido and KPN options.
The Amsterdam deployment detail and the more than 100 Gbps switching capacity show that this is being presented as an operational service, not just a commercial wrapper. Existing Vodafone connections can also take the service, which makes the move relevant to installed bases rather than only new sales.
