Anthropic’s annualized revenue crossed $65 billion at the end of July, up from $47 billion in May and about $9 billion at the end of 2025.
The figure is the latest marker in a financing and IPO process that is still private, still preliminary, and still built on numbers that have not been audited like those of a listed company.
IPO filing, bankers, and the latest funding round
Anthropic confidentially filed its draft IPO plan with U.S. authorities in early June. The company is working with Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan on the offering.
Its latest funding round closed at the end of May, when investors put in $65 billion and valued Anthropic at a post-money $965 billion. That was up from a $380 billion valuation in February.
Operating income and quarterly revenue remain preliminary
Bloomberg-linked documents shared with prospective investors showed second-quarter 2026 revenue of more than $11.5 billion, versus $787 million a year earlier. First-quarter revenue was $4.73 billion, which puts first-half 2026 revenue at about $16.2 billion.
The same material also indicated positive adjusted operating income in the second quarter. Anthropic does not yet publish audited quarterly accounts as a public company would.
What this means for Telecom Industry buyers of cloud and AI infrastructure
For Telecom Industry buyers, the disclosed numbers are a benchmark for what private AI vendors are telling investors while they prepare to go public. The relevant read is not the IPO timing guesswork; it is the scale of revenue, the use of adjusted operating income, and the fact that the company is already presenting multi-quarter figures to potential backers.
That is the data point procurement and infrastructure teams can compare against other AI suppliers in contract and financing talks.
