ETIX has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire four Eurofiber datacenters in the Occitanie region, with the sites in Toulouse, Auch, Nîmes and Labège.
The transaction would add three owned sites in Toulouse, Auch and Nîmes, plus one colocation unit in Labège, to ETIX’s existing French portfolio of 13 datacenters. ETIX says the deal would expand its global network to 19 locations.
Occitanie would become a denser ETIX cluster
The acquisition would give ETIX six locations in Occitanie, making it the number-one player in the region. That is an analyst reconstruction from the deal terms, not a separate disclosure from ETIX.
Eurofiber is reshaping its French colocation footprint
Eurofiber France plans to divest its French colocation activities because their scale was not sufficient to remain structurally competitive on its own. Eurofiber says the transaction would strengthen its market position and execution capacity through a strategic partnership with ETIX.
Read for French datacenter buyers
The deal would add capacity in Toulouse, Auch, Nîmes and Labège while consolidating ETIX’s position in Occitanie. For buyers in France, the immediate signal is that Eurofiber France wants to exit a colocation setup it no longer views as competitive at current scale.
