Odido describes SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) as a software-driven WAN solution intended to help companies improve network performance and reduce costs.
The provider says SD-WAN works with existing and new applications, techniques, and data, and gives administrators insight into network configuration, security policies, and performance. Odido also positions SD-WAN as cloud-based, claiming changes can be implemented quickly and new functions added easily, while new business locations can be added so teams can access the same network safely from anywhere.
OdidoCs SD-WAN offering is presented around an connectivity management platform for one place visibility: users can view SD-WAN configuration and security policies, get real-time performance insight, use troubleshooting tools, and access detailed usage statistics down to the application level for trend analysis. Odido also states its platform is managed by Odido and that all data stays in the Netherlands, with the stated reason being support for regulations and guidelines; it also says bandwidth can be scaled up and down and that existing IP-VPN transitions are possible using an MPLS gateway.
