What the Nexus architecture changes inside the rack

How the CS-4 fits into existing data-center networks

What this means for AI infrastructure teams

Domande frequenti

How fast does Cerebras say the CS-4 is?
Cerebras says the CS-4 can run up to twice as fast as the CS-3. In a GPT-OSS-120B test, it also delivered up to 30 times the per-user inference speed of GPU-based systems.
Can the CS-4 connect to existing Ethernet networks?
Yes. Cerebras says the CS-4 supports RoCE v2 over Ethernet so it can plug into existing high-speed Ethernet infrastructure.
Does the CS-4 eliminate all conventional networking?
No. Manish Rawat of TechInsights said the architecture could reduce dependence on traditional switching layers between Cerebras systems but would not eliminate conventional networking requirements.
