Thales and Bridge Alliance operators deploy multi-operator enterprise eSIM network for IoT

Thales and Singtel, Optus, AIS and Globe Telecom have announced the successful deployment of a multi-operator enterprise eSIM connectivity network for IoT. The companies say it is the world’s first such network.

The platform was developed with Bridge Alliance operators Singtel, Optus, AIS and Globe Telecom and is built on Thales’ end-to-end IoT eSIM solution. It is designed to let enterprises deploy connected devices without being tied to a single operator.

Orchestration across operators

The platform has demonstrated end-to-end orchestration across devices and operators. Thales and the four Bridge Alliance operators say that validation makes the platform ready for deployment, while expansion to additional operators is already underway.

The same setup also lets enterprises remotely manage connected devices across multiple countries and networks through a single centralized solution. The companies say that should simplify deployment and lifecycle management across Asia-Pacific.

What this means for IoT connectivity buyers

Enterprises running connected deployments across multiple markets are the intended audience here. The platform targets the fragmented management systems, operator-specific provisioning and manual interventions that still slow down cross-border IoT rollouts.

For buyers, the immediate signal is that Thales and the Bridge Alliance operators are pushing a model that is not tied to a single network. If the deployment holds up beyond the four named operators, it gives enterprise IoT teams another benchmark for how multi-operator eSIM management can be packaged.
