CSL acquires IoTM to unify global eSIM management

CSL Group has acquired IoTM Solutions to simplify and unify global eSIM management. The deal folds IoTM into CSL’s push for a single orchestration layer across operator and enterprise eSIM estates.

IoTM’s platform already manages more than 30 million SIM cards and is prepared to integrate more than 1 billion. It also has more than 20 direct integrations with operator and CMP platforms, which gives CSL an installed technical base rather than a greenfield build.

Platform scale and integration depth

The acquisition brings together a platform already handling tens of millions of SIMs with a stack built for larger volumes. That matters because the combined setup is supposed to improve the reliability of Critically Connected deployments and support resilient orchestration as regulatory and technical requirements change, including SGP.32.

Read for eSIM orchestration buyers

For operators and enterprise connectivity teams, the relevant signal is not the acquisition itself but the operating footprint behind it. IoTM’s direct integrations with operator and CMP platforms, plus its stated capacity to scale beyond 1 billion SIMs, make this a vendor combination that procurement teams will benchmark against existing eSIM management stacks.
