IoT Tech Expo Global 2027 Edge Computing, Digital Twins & IoT Security

Feb 3–4, 2027 (2 days) Olympia, London, United Kingdom

IoT Tech Expo Global presents the Edge Computing, Digital Twins & IoT Security agenda as a dedicated Day 1 track. For connectivity professionals and roaming managers, the sessions emphasize the operational requirements behind reliable edge-to-cloud data flows and secure deployment patterns for distributed systems.

Across the track, speakers address scaling edge computing and overcoming challenges in deployment and integration, including complexity management and interoperability, plus security and cost concerns. The agenda also covers Physical AI and how models for the real world can reduce reliance on connectivity or massive cloud models, alongside a platform approach to scaling edge AI workloads across many edge locations with consistent governance and day-2 operations.

The digital twins content ties back to IoT data trust: it highlights how innovations such as SGP.32 and modern IoT MVNO models can improve the stability and scalability of data flows used for accurate, secure digital twins. Another session focuses on the evolution of digital twins from earlier concepts to intelligent and generative implementations.

Named contributors include Nassia Skoulikariti (Apiro Data Ltd) as chairperson’s opening remarks, Almaz Rakhimbekov (Uber), Hristo Balabanov (Coca-Cola HBC), George Glanville (STL Partners), Jim Bruges (Edge Impulse), Justin Barksdale (Spectro Cloud), and Alan Tait (Pelion). The track includes scheduled presentations and networking breaks within the Day 1 programme.
