Aeris and Telna partner on Brazil IoT connectivity

Aeris and Telna announced a Brazil-focused IoT connectivity partnership built around eSIM provisioning, local IMSI profiles, and network security.

Aeris and Telna partner on Brazil IoT connectivity

Aeris has announced a partnership with Telna with an initial focus on Brazil. The deal combines Aeris IoT Accelerator and Aeris IoT Watchtower with Telna’s cloud-native core network.

Brazil restricts permanent roaming, which has pushed global enterprises toward separate local agreements or parallel connectivity stacks. Telna brings local IMSI profiles in Brazil and more than 800 network agreements across more than 200 countries and territories.

How the integration is set up

The joint setup delivers zero-touch eSIM provisioning, allowing devices to connect without SIM swaps or country-by-country onboarding. Telna’s geo-redundant points of presence, combined with Aeris’s global Tier-1 operator agreements, enable intelligent local breakout that keeps traffic closer to the device and lowers latency for autonomous systems, connected vehicles, and edge AI.

Aeris says the combination lets customers reach Brazil’s agribusiness, industrial IoT, healthcare, and automotive markets on compliant local connectivity managed alongside their global fleet.

Security stays inside the network

Aeris says IoT Accelerator is the only IoT platform with security monitoring and protection fully integrated into the cellular network. That integrated security gives every device zero-trust protection from day one.

Telna joins a community of Tier-1 operators on IoT Accelerator, giving enterprises, OEMs, and MSPs another carrier option inside the platform.

Read for IoT platform buyers

The pair is pitching this as a way to enter new markets without new carrier contracts or device redesigns. For buyers, the benchmark is straightforward: local IMSI support in Brazil, zero-touch eSIM provisioning, and a managed path for fleets that need to stay compliant while crossing borders.

Aeris also says the setup is meant to counter international cost inflation that erodes competitiveness and total cost of ownership.
