Celona has bundled Wi-Fi 7 access points into its Orion private 5G offer and is packaging Orchestrator AI as an all-agentic management system.
The company has also rebranded Celona 5G LAN as Celona Orion. Celona said Orion will be available from the fourth quarter of 2026 and will unify private 5G, Wi-Fi, public cellular, and satellite into a single deterministic and secure fabric.
Orchestrator AI sits on top of Celona’s converged stack
Celona said Orchestrator AI packages agentic tools, described as skills, into a customer’s preferred large language model. The same platform is meant to manage converged wireless operations rather than keep Wi-Fi and private cellular in separate silos.
Celona said its new Wi-Fi 7 access points are available on the same Orion subscription at no additional cost. It also said key capabilities in Orion will be introduced on a phased basis.
What the vendor is selling with the subscription
The bundle is positioned as one operating model across private 5G, Wi-Fi, public cellular, and satellite. Celona’s release also says the platform can bring up private 5G, Wi-Fi, and satellite-backed connectivity where operations need to run, with SIM-based identity, micro-segmentation for OT, and air-gapped IT/OT separation.
What IDC and INS are signaling to enterprise buyers
Brandon Butler, senior research manager for network infrastructure and services at IDC, said Wi-Fi and private 5G have matured into essential but largely disconnected enterprise connectivity technologies. Lane Wooldridge, business development lead for advanced wireless solutions at INS, said most deployments require Wi-Fi and private cellular to work together and are typically matched to different use cases.
For enterprise wireless teams, the read is simple: Celona is selling the merge of Wi-Fi and private 5G management, not just another radio line. The fourth-quarter 2026 timing and phased rollout suggest buyers will need to watch which Orion capabilities arrive first.
