Internet on Demand has added managed fixed wireless access connectivity with operator switching on a single data SIM for managed service providers.
The platform lets an MSP switch between subscription types and operators without replacing the physical SIM. Internet on Demand says that setup is meant to give partners more control over fixed wireless access connectivity.
Operator switching without a SIM swap
The company says the next step is to let partners switch not only between subscription types but also between subscriptions from different operators on one data SIM, without duplicate costs and without a physical SIM swap. Internet on Demand also says MSPs can switch at any time to the connectivity solution that best fits the customer’s situation.
Subscription changes are part of the offer
Partners can manage mobile connectivity through the platform and move between subscription types such as a backup subscription and an unlimited subscription, depending on customer needs. That makes the platform a control layer for FWA and broader mobile connectivity rather than a fixed plan locked to one operator.

For MSPs, the pitch is not just a new subscription tier but the ability to move a customer between operators on the same SIM. That is the commercial term that will matter if the platform is benchmarked against other managed FWA offers.
