BT Business and Ivanti have launched automated eSIM installation and activation for managed Android devices.
The deploy-to-device setup can install eSIMs automatically, or through a brief installation process, for devices used by up to thousands of workers. BT says the process cuts delivery time from days to minutes.

BT’s enterprise pitch
BT’s Sally Fuller said customers want devices that are ready when their people need them. She said the Android and Ivanti setup gives BT a simple and reliable way to switch on connectivity across Android devices.

For enterprises with large mobile fleets, the pitch is less about novelty than operational cleanup: automated installation, fewer manual steps, and shorter delivery times. BT and Ivanti are also framing the process as a way to save time and money while giving businesses a consistent deployment method across their assets.
