Risk Intelligence said its maritime intelligence system license agreement will contribute annual recurring revenue from the second quarter of 2026.
The deal centers on Risk Intelligence System access for an unnamed European maritime authority, supported by intelligence reports for security-risk monitoring tied to the authority’s flag state registry responsibilities.
What the license gives the client
Risk Intelligence provides security threat and risk analysis through its cloud-based Risk Intelligence System. In addition to system access, Risk Intelligence also provides consulting services for government and commercial clients.
Under the agreement, the maritime authority will gain access to the Risk Intelligence System and intelligence reports. The authority will use that access to support monitoring of security risks affecting vessels registered under its flag.
How the authority applies the system
The client is a national maritime authority responsible for supervising vessel and seafarer safety and security within its flag state registry. That same authority also oversees foreign-flagged vessels calling at the country’s ports.
The services are intended to strengthen the authority’s ability to provide assessments and recommendations to leadership and guidance to vessel owners and managers operating within the registry.
CEO comments on the agreement
Hans Tino Hansen, CEO of Risk Intelligence, said it is a real pleasure to welcome the maritime authority client to Risk Intelligence. He added that the new client further increases the number of maritime authorities using Risk Intelligence’s services, and that the agreement underlines the trust and credibility Risk Intelligence built over a period of 25 years with government and private clients.
